Getting Started On Klaia: Track Your Finances Step By Step

Now, you can use Klaia to track your profits and expenses easily. We recently released this feature and are very excited for you to try it! If you have been using excel spreadsheets to track your finances – you are going to love this! This financial tracker is easy to use and comprehensive.

The financial aspect is extremely important when it comes to turning content creation into something more than just a hobby – we want to help you understand your income streams better while helping you track them.

What you can do & track

Snapshot of expenses + profits

When you first land on the financial tab, you’ll see a snapshot of your expenses + profits in the last 30 days at the top.

Bar graph to track revenue sources

Underneath the snapshot, you will see a bar graph. This is design to help you better understand your revenue sources and it can also help you see at what times of the month you earn more.

Summary overview

And lastly, you’ll see a summary overview of all the expenses and profits you have added – you can filter this by dates, by only choosing profits or expenses and you can also look up specific items.

Adding Profits & Expenses

Step 1: Click on the “Financials” tab

Go to your dashboard and click on “financials” on the left-side menu.

Step 2: Add your first expense or profit by clicking on the “+” sign

Click on the “+” sign that appears on the snapshot card of expenses and profits. A window will pop up where you can…

Step 3: Fill in the details & click on “continue”

Fill in the details for the item you are adding. You can add a name, amount, source, choose frequency, and add notes. Click the “continue” button and your profit/expense has been added!

Step 4: Scroll down to “summary overview” and click on “view all”

There you can see all the items you have previously added, and filter by dates, by type and even look up specific words.
